if anyone has any info. on vic lundy, who i heard was sheriff of san patricio co. or in the co. i would appreciate any info. there is a connection to the surnames, williams, crider, benson, larramore, holden, and i think nickels.

I am researching the Crider and Lundy families and have come up with a few leads, but not too much. My grandmother was a Crider and she was kin to Vic Lundy, but I do not know that he was a sheriff.

my grandmother told me stories that vic was polina lundys brother and they would exchange smoke signals out of grree wood, and eventually all her relatives (indians) would file out of the wooods single file, visit and then leave. i am still searching for anyone else that knows anything about the lundys and indian heritage
