Francisco Menchaca born abt March 1856
in Mexico. Came to US abt 1870. Married Juana Flores born abt 1865-1872 in Rio Grande ValleyThey lived in Refugio Texas in 1900 census. He was a well
Known farmer in Refugio and Mc Faddin, Victoria County Texas.
He disappears on 1910 census and Juana is remarried. Juana married #2 Juan Guevera before 1910 lived in Victoria and Tivoli Tx

They had the following children
1 Simona Menchaca born Sept 1887 married? Rodriguez/? Escalona
2. Clemencia Menchaca born Nov 1890 married Tomas Lara
3. Porfirio Menchaca Sept 1891 married Ysabel Lara
4. Julian Menchaca Jan 1893
5. Benito Menchaca March 1896
6. Paz Menchaca Feb 1898 married Fernando Guevara in Victoria Tx and moved to Del Rio Tx or San Angelo TX
all the above were born in San Patricio county
7. Angelita Menchaca 1901-1902 married Adames
8. Nicolas Menchaca 1904 died 1928 Mc Faddin TX married Martina Longoria

Hello My fathers name is Julian Menchaca lara. His fathers name was Tomas Lara Mothers name is Clemencia Lara.
My Father was Born in McFaddin Texas 1918.

My family living in Port Lavaca shared with me the grave sites in the Catholic Church cemetry in Tivoli, Texas. There I was taken to see the graves for Juan Jacob Guevara Born in 1873 Died Jan 23, 1953. His wife Juana Fallegio (Menchaca previous marriage) Guevara Born ? & Died April 17, 1937. Juana was my maternal greatgrandmother. One Daughter Paz Menchaca Guevara was my maternal grandmother and she married Fernando Guevara. Juan Jacob Guevara & Fernando Guevara were brothers from Victoria Cuidad-Padilla Tamalipas Mexico. They found their way to Texas. My grandfather became a cotton farmers in Tivoli.
