I am searching for my grandmothers parents particually her father. His name was William or Willie Kemp. He resided in Pinehill, Texas. The story I am told is that my greatgrand mother Arlena Everett worked in the home of the Kemp Family. She and William or Willie had a daughter who's name was Rosa Lillie Kemp born 1901 and the family resided in Panola,tx. Suppossedly William or Willie was white but I am having difficulting finding any information on the Kemp family. I have found seveal William or Willies listed as Mullato or black .. I really simply want to find my grandfathers family. If you have any information or could help it would be great. Arlena (black) and Willie never married.
