In the Probate Court of Runnels County State of Texas Jan. 16. 1901
To the Hon. T.T. Crosson Judge of the County Court of said County.
The petition of Mandy Gray a resident citizen of Runnels County Texas. Respectfully represents to the court that she is the surviving widow of C.B. Gray late of the County of Runnels deceased who on the 25th day of December 1900 in said county and State departed this life and left surviving him the following named children towit
1st Texas Scott a girl aged 48 yrs who resides in Guadalupe County, Texas.
2nd Georgia Spain a girl aged 40 yrs
3 Tom Gray a boy aged 38yrs
4 Sam Gray a boy aged 36 yrs
5 Ida King a girl aged 31 yrs
6 William Gray a boy age 27 yrs
All reside in Runnels County
7 John Gray a boy aged 44 yrs
8 The heirs of Lum Gray deceased aged 40 yrs who was a son of CB and
Amanda Gray who are as follows
1st Belver Gray a girl aged 12
2nd Mirtie Gray a girl aged 11yrs
3 Lum Gray a girl aged 9yrs
That the said C B Gray at the time of his death was a resident citizen of said County and State and had no seperate estate that there is a community estate between your petitioner and the decedent C B Gray.
That said estate is all situated in said State and County and consists of both real and personal property of the probable value of two thousand dollars Your petitioners would further represent that Joe Burson Tom Lee and AD Talley are resident citizens of said Runnels County State of Texas and have no interest in the community estate of your petitioner Mandy Gray and decedent C B Gray
Wherefore, your petitioner prays that this court appoint the said Joe Burson, Tom Lee and AD Talley to appraise said Estate as the Law directs and that your petitioner be duly appointed administrator of said community Estate

It appearing to the court that Joe Burson Tom Lee and AD Tally are all citizens of Runnels County Texas are in no way interested in the community Estate of Mandy Gray and C B Gray late of said County deceased
It is therefore ordered by the Court that the said Joe Burson Tom Lee and AD Tally or any two of them are authorized herby to appraise the community Estate of the said Mandy Gray and C B Gray late of said County deceased, both real and personal so far as the same shall be produced to them by Mandy Gray Administratix thereof and a full inventory and appraisment thereof which you must subscribe under oath and return same to this Court
