MACK DALTON YOUNG, 59, died Monday, April 17, 2000, at an Abilene, TX, hospital.

He was born in Winters, TX, and graduated from Winters High School in 1958. He attended Abilene Christian University and the University of Texas in Austin. He married Paula White Cole on August 3, 1968, in Abilene.

Mr. Young moved to Austin in 1970 where he worked for Impressions Printing and Graphics as a printer. He moved to Anson, TX, in 1999.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy E. Young, and his grandparents, Thomas Blewett Young and Carrie McMillian Young, and John Anderson Lamberth and Sarah Louise White Lamberth, all of Winters, TX.

Survivors include his wife Paula Young of Anson; his mother Kathaleene Lamberth Young of Winters; three sons, Philip Cole of Georgetown, Jayson Cole of Round Rock, and Matthew Young of Abilene; one daughter Monna Lou Cross of Normal, Illinois; two brothers, Thomas E. Young of Plano and Gary A. Young of Richardson; three sisters Carolyn Kay Colburn of Winters, Sylvia Sumner of Carrollton, and Mary Aldridge of Decatur; and nine grandchildren.

Services were at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 19, at the Christian Life Church with Rev. Rick Hargrave, Dudley White, and Ron Winn officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by the Lawrence-Adams Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were brothers Tommy Young and Gary Young; brother-in-laws Bill Colburn, Max Sumner, Denny Aldridge, and Gerald White; and nephew Bob Colburn.
