Worth a shot again - I'm looking for any information regarding a Jail Break in March 1943. I found a death certificate of an Elbert Lee MORRIS who was shot in a Jail Break in Pecos, Reeves County, TX.
His death is listed as 7 Mar 1943; I would assume the Jail Break occurred within these few days.
