Is anyone familiar with a settlement in Red River Co. named Jonasborough? My family records indicate that that it was close to the river. I'm sure that it is gone now, but my 3rd Great Grandfather Moses Williams died there about 1831, waiting for permission to accept a Mexican land grant. His 2 year old son eventually settled in Bell Co.
