I would appreciate any information regarding the Humphreys family. My grandfather, Martin Elbert Humphrey of Clarksville in Red River County Texas dropped the "s" from our name, as did William Humphrey the Author. Sterling Humphreys is my great, great, grandfather. I am related through his son William Martin Humphreys. I am new to this, but will share whatever info that come up with through my research.
