I am looking for information on John Henry Davis and Nancy Susan Blanton Davis (moved to Rio Frio from Cherokee County sometime in the 1880's) and their decendants. Their oldest daughter - my grandmother - was Virdie R. Davis who married John William Evans in 1893. I would like to get a copy of John and Virdie's marriage license or some other proof of their marriage for application for membership in DRT. Other children of John Henry and Nancy Susan were Dovie Davis Streib, Charlie Davis, Robert (Bob) Davis, and John Davis. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
