Looking for information on James Ira Pearce born July 1881 in Texas. He first married Callie Amelia Cox and they had three children, Fay, Amelia Isabelle and Essie E.

James was employed as a carpenter and then a self-employed building contractor.

By 1930 James and Callie are no longer together and I don't know if James died or if they divorced. In 1930 Callie is living in Oklahoma married to Willard St. Clair, a man who was 14 years younger than her.

I found a birth certificate in Potter County in 1944 for a Betty Pearce, stillborn child of James Ira Pearce born in Texas and Margaret M. Cook, born in Idaho. If this is my James, he would have been 63 years old when this baby was born.
