Winfred W. Wise
Winfred W. Wise, 77, of Amarillo, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with the Rev. Loran Harper, pastor of Comanche Trail Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Wise was born in Newlin and had lived in Amarillo since 1950. He served with the Army during World War II and worked until retiring for Multi-color Incorporated. He was a member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ and a former member of the American Legion and the Lions Club.
He married Pauline Ellerd in 1944 at Plainview.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Larry Wise of Chesapeake, Va., Ronald Wise and Gary Wise, both of Amarillo, and Danny Wise of Round Rock; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
