I am a relative of W J Sloan Harrison married to Lydia Sanders MCR2257.Their son Sloan Harrison JR married Mahala Walker Harrison. Their Daughter Anna Harrison married Jim Ruth who is my great great grandmother and grandfather. We are Mississippi Choctaw. We have a Mississippi Choctaw census card as identification as a Mississippi Choctaw but we were denied the land allotment. That is why we were rejected for enrollment in the Choctaw tribe. The tribe believes that we were rejected as citizens. I am trying to get our family membership. I am interested in speaking to other family members who may have different information.
