I have spent quite a lot of time searching for Mary Wooten, and have now found that the name should have been WOOTAN. I've checked just about everything that's posted on the inet, but can't fnd my Mary. Edgar and Mary are my ggg's, and I have not been able to find anything about the ancestry of either. My gg was Susan "Susan" Enola POLLITT, b. 1848. Perhaps some of you have bible records or other documents that refer to a Mary b. in early-mid 1820s, who later migrated to Texas. (Nacogdoches became Smith Co. about 1845.) ANY leads will be greatly appreciated, and I will gladly share what info I have on their descendants. Thanks. Fred
