Hartwell and Nannie Phelon were my Great Grandparents. My mother, Addie Inez Harris, was born to Hartwell Hines and Annie Pruett. My mother had correspondance from the Golightleys sometime in the 1970's and I am trying to locate the letters. Mom and all of her brothers have passed away so I have been searching for information online.

I don't look at this very often and just found your post. We have common ancestors with Hartwell and Indiana and would like to trade information. Fay Golightly was my great aunt and was probably the one who wrote to your mother. Did anyone else ever reply to you?

Annie A. Pruett was my grandmothers younger sister. My dad told me about Annie being married to a Howard Hart Harris. It took me a long time to find Howard Hartwell Harris. I can give you lots of info on the Pruett's (Pruet). My Dad was born in Roaring Springs, Motley, Texas. His name was John Houston McBroom, my grandmother was Minnie Ellen Pruett. I would love to share info with you.
