I was told that a Iredell Redding might be listed in Montogomery County back in the late 1700's or early 1800'.
He might have come from Ilinois..as his daughter Matilda was born abt.1814 in Illinois possibly..Matilda or Huldah which we are not certain of married a Drury Wilson (b. 1811 in Robertson Co.,Tenn.) They moved to Tx..and settled around Bastrop County as one of their sons(George )married francis Ellen Standifer in Bastrop county around 1873) Hope this ring a bell and someone can shed some light on this ..thanks!
