The last known residence I have for William Compton is Mitchell County in the 1920 census, Just Prect 4, page 65. I believe sometime after this, he may have killed someone in a fight. I cannot find any records for this or where he may have been sent (prison versus asylum)? Any information on him is really appreciated.
