William Henry (W.H.) Malovets, 89, of Buckholts died Sept. 1 in a Temple hospital. Funeral services were held Sept. 5 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial followed at the Corinth Cemetery near Buckholts.

Malovets was born Jan. 13, 1918 in Buckholts to Frank and Willie Mae Malovets.

He married Lucille Von Rosenberg on Dec. 24, 1941.

He retired from Buckholts ISD as custodian and bus driver. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of the Holland American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Duke.

Survivors include his wife Lucille Malovets of Buckholts; sons Bobby Malovets of Temple and Howard Malovets of Buckholts; daughters Linda Zierke of Temple and Mary Mowdy of Buckholts; brother Melvin Malovets of Iowa Colony; 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
