The funeral service for Curtis Moab Taylor, 91, of Rockdale was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 5, 2007, at Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown with Pastor John Selle officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Briggs.

Mr. Taylor died Sept. 3 in Rockdale.

A Rockdale resident since 2001.

He was born on April 4, 1916, in Briggs to Moab and Eva Taylor.

On March 17, 1951, he married Viola Limmer Taylor in Lubbock. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Taylor was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church in Georgetown since 1981. He had been attending Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale.

Survivors are his daughter, Pam Pruett and her husband Mike of Rockdale; grandchildren Ashley Pruett and Tyler Pruett of Rockdale; a son, Dennis Taylor and grandchildren, Kevin, Kurt and Kyle Taylor of Olney; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
