HEARNE - Funeral services for Billy (Cookie) Lee, age 68, of Hearne, who died on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 were held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at The New Elam Baptist Church in Hearne.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie; father, Otis; two sisters, Minnie Pearl and Kathy; brother, William; grandson, Shaquille.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn; three daughters, Sandra, Lovie and Latonia and their husbands, Operis, Frederick and Tyrone; two sisters, Ruth and husband Ossie and Barbara and husband Vernon; six brothers, Freddie and wife Hazel, Crafford and wife Hattie, Robert and wife Della, Herman and wife Essie, Jerry and wife Patricia and Charles; 13 grandchildren, Mark, Darrell, Joseph, Sunshine, Kelly, Melvin, Billie, De Vantae, Shauntae, Shaqurana, Tyron, Erania and Darius; special friend, Faye; a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
