Married Dianacy "Dicy" Wallace 1851 in Union Parish, La., had 11 children: Mary Frances, Jane P., Thomas Marion, Ephram Pennington, Carrie Elizabeth, John Absalom, Martha Judy, Diannah, Sarah E., Charles Westley, and Tereanna Autrey.

Mp record has been found for the death and burial of John Autrey. Dicy Autrey died 17 Sep. 1925 in Waco, Tx. and is buried in the Park Lawn Cem. in Waco, Tx.
