Bob, I saw your post of Aug 2006. "Yank" Criswell was my Great-Great grandfather and was indeed murdered in McCulloch County in 1888. His daughter, Mary Ida, was my Great grandmother. I have several versions of the event and would greatly appreciate details. Newspaper articles, obit, anything at all.
