I am editing a memorial book on Texas peace officers killed in the line of duty. On 6 March 1936 Lynn County Deputy Sheriff F. E. REDWINE (b. 11 June 1877) was shot by a prisoner in the jail. He died in Lubbock on 7 March 1936. Any information surrounding this incident and any biographical data would be appreciated.
