I am seeking info on the Cope/Tanner families of Limestone County, Tx. I have Josie Couch b. 1-22-1871 in Warren Co., Tn. m. William Tanner on 6-17-1886 in Warren Co., Tn. They were the parents of James Author m. Ruth Goolsby, Alice m. Clarence Goolsby, and Herman John m. Marian Townsend. Josie married for a second time on 1-10-1894 to James Thomas Cope b. 1-1-1872 in Tn. James had two children by his first marriage, Ella m. Dow Beaver and Andy. He and Josie were the parents of Harriet b. 1894 m. Monroe Morrow, Harrison b. 1898 m. Ada Lola ?, Vera b. 1905 m. R.P.Joyce, Cleo b. 1905, Tennie (?) b. 1907 and Mozette b. 1913. Somewhere around the turn of the century, Josie and Thomas moved from Tn. to Limestone, Mexia, Tx. Josie died 8-14-1947 and James died 6-15-1963 and are buried in Caldwell, Lockhart, Tx. I am seeking any info on these families and any living grand and great grandchildren. My husband is the great-grandson of Josie. Thanks for any help. Bev
