When I was very young, during the 1930s, my family and I lived in DeKalb, Bowie Co, TX> My mother 'took in" boarders to help with finances. One of our boarders was Miss Wilma Morphew, who taught Spanish at the local high school.
Her boy friend, who lived in Paris, was A.M. Aiken, who later became the Senator to the TX legislature.
They became lifelong friends of my family.and I remember them with
with much love and respect.
