Re: D. McMillen, 1892
Hi, I have a family document stating the town Bonham, and a long lost uncle sent a lady to say Hi from Bonham Texas, this document was written in 1889, Our Charles Thomas Bain/Bean left home at a young age, his father told him to settle down , and he did not want to hear of it and took off, It is said he left on a ship in Saint Andrews Canada, and years later sold it. every few years someone would come in town saying that he said Hi, Our last name was changed from McBean to Bean then Bain. It is pressumed that Thomas Bean used his middle name which is named after his Mother's maiden name. Our family was going to send a notice that we were the family but we had no proof, so they let it go. I m not interested in any money either, just want to know the truth, and seeing as in how no family can properly claim him from the United States and my relatives passed down a document from before 1900's. I am going to continue to find the truth of my family and the truth of Thomas Bean's family whomever they might be.
