Kines has had terrible bad luck this year, his wife died the 7th of this month and the baby is not expected to live. And he had two of his horses to die this spring. The two horses were Alice and Gypsy, they had the lockjaw. Lucy died with the typhoid fever and the flux. She was not sick long."
