Hey Mary, I am from Borger, Hutchinson Co., Texas and I am kin to the McNutts. My grandfather J D Whitfield lived down the street from the McNutts in Stinnett, TX. He was married to my grandmother of course who later remarried to O H McClellan which is where the McNutts tie into my tree.
