I am looking for the parents of this person. He is found on the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census in Texas. I have not, yet, found the 1930 census record. According to his death certificate, he was born 3 July 1874 in Martha [sic], Georgia. He died 14 Dec 1850 in Mineral Wells, Texas and buried in Haskell County, Texas. Census records say that both of his parents were born in Georgia.

Robert married Nancy Finley, daughter of N. E. Finley and Ora Coleman (both born in Mississippi) about 1898-1899. Nancy was born 9 April 1881 in Mississippi, died 20 Oct 1850 in Mineral Wells, Texas, and is also buried in Haskell County, Texas

Robert and Nancy had at least three children: Emory, born about July 1899 in Texas; Calla Mae, born 23 Feb 1901 in Bosque County, Texas; and Robert Raul, born 24 Jun 1904 in Bosque County, Texas

Calla Mae married an unknown (to me) Gideon. She died 18 Feb 1963 in Mineral Wells, Texas, and is buried Haskell County, Texas as well.

Robert Raul died 20 Jan 1966 in Garland, Texas, and is buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.

Except for census records, I have no further information on Emory

Robert McCleskey is noted on the 1930 Census for Abilene (City), Texas in Precinct 1. His age is listed as 53 and born in Georgia.
There is a Nannie McCleskey noted also age 48 born in Mississippi.
Hope this is the right one
