Joseph Debat Cropper was born September 1, 1895 and died July 22, 1982, in Houston, Harris County, Texas. Is there anyone who remembers him, knows where he is buried, whether he had a family? I only know that his mother was Anna L. Cropper and she was married at one time to a Scarborough. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with any information at all. (I can't get a copy of his death certificate until another year passes.) From data in the 1930 census, he was a candy salesman at that time. His mother was a dressmaker with a business address at 319 Beatty Building and residence at 1202 Arlington in the 1917 Houston City Directory.
