Burial will be in Greenland [Dreamland] Cemetery in Turkey under the direction of Myers-Long Funeral Directors.
She died Saturday, March 23, 1996 in
Lockney.
She was born Feb. 6, 1909 in
Silverton. She married R. C. Green on Feb. 14, 1932, in
Silverton. They lived in Amarillo for a year and moved to Turkey in April 1933. He died Nov. 12, 1992. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She played the piano at the church for 61 years. She was the secretary-treasurer for the United Methodist Women, the Turkey
Senior Citizens and the Nuevo study Club. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She taught at the Gasoline school for two years and in Tulia for one year.
Survivors include a son, Keith of Turkey; two daughters Anita Kay Ochsmer of El
Paso and Cozette
Price of Center, Colo.; two sisters, Einell
Bramblett of Plainview and Gladys
Strickland of Albany, Ga.; seven grandchildren and 11 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the memorial fund at the First United Methodist Church in Turkey.
