I was doing work on my Cleaveland line when I came across your post. Ely J. Cleveland was my great grandfather. My Grandmother was the daughter of EJ and his first wife, Rebecca Caroline Isbell. She died and he remarried Louisa Jane Tucker Isbell Matthews. I think Louisa is buried in the McGregor TX cemetery with EJ - they moved there from Grimes County. She ran a boarding house on South 12th Street in Waco, TX (according to my cousin Eloise Horton Southern who knew her). I also have a petition she filed for Civil War widow/survivor's benefits after EJ died.I also have a photograph of her which I would be happy to scan and send to you. There is probably a death certificate filed in Waco, McLennan County which I would be happy to search out if you haven't already located it.
