There is a grave marker on the Johnson Ranch with the name of Sophia Hanley Cook. It used to be a headstone with that name and dates of 1830-1853 with the words "only sleeping" it was removed and a funeral home nameplate put up. Does anyone know what happened to her headstone and why and how she originally died?
