To whom ever reads this could you please help me in my search to find my grandmother and a possible aunt.My grandmother would be in her mid 60's and my aunt would be in her late 30's. (not positive have never personally met them) Grandmothers name would be Bertha Mae Wilson ( madien name Anslow) but had a daughter Tammy Hill . Bertha was married in the 60's to my grandfather Kenneth L Wilson Sr. , and a few years later they were divorced. During there marriage they had 2 children together. A daughter (terri - my mother) and a son (my uncle- kenneth Wilson jr.). I am searching for these women for medical reasons. THIS IS VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT. Last know place was OK and TX. John Christopher TROUT and Minnie Etta THORNTON were married in Greer County or Jackson County in 1892. Minnie Etta is the daughter of Jesse and Sarah Ross THORNTON. Does anyone know if old records from this time exist? Like a newspaper article or court records? The family Bible page I have says they had a church wedding.

elijah thomas wilson, born 1839 in MS, married to Ruth A Smith, born 1849 in TN or TX

Elijah was a CA veteran, who lived in Greer Coumty, TX. His CA pension application says that he always lived in Texas. He owned a farm on the 1900 Beckham County, OK census. Ruth had already died and is buried in or near Beckham County, north of Sayre, which in 1900 may have been in Roger Mills County. These are my Great grandparents. I am trying to find Ruth A Smith Wilson's parents. Maybe her death certificate tells where she was born. Her daughter, Maggie died the same year and they are buried next to each other.
I believe they must have been in this area from the mid 1870's
He was wounded and did not have any use of his right arm. In the 1860 Lavaca County, TX, he is listed with Ruth and no children. His occupation is a tanner at that time.

Roy Harvey Powers b: 1897 Aberdeen, Collingsworth, TX
(Lizzie Ragsdale signed and swore to info on delayed birth cert in 1940 for Roy, signing her name with (Aunt) after it. She was living in Vinson, Greer, OK in 1940 the birth cert is from state of Texas).

William shows up in Arkansas with the 3 children in 1907 and no mention of Callie. Married 2 years later in 1909. William was in the Cattle Business in TX. Am very interested in Callie and Lizzie. I think they are sisters.

Gene Arthur Crawford

Gene Arthur Crawford died following an illness in her Woodland home with his family by his side Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at age 65.

Born Jan. 10, 1927, in Springfield, Mo., Mr. Crawford had been a Yolo County resident for eight years.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife of 38 years, Charlene Crawford; sons, David Crawford of Brigham City, Utah, Perry Crawford and wife Denise of Woodland; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Ashley and Samantha Crawford of Woodland and Kyle and Robert Crawford of Utah.

He was preceded in death by her son, Robert Crawford.

Cremation has taken place at his request.

Interment will be at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo at a later date.

A celebration of life will take place at his son's house on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The family requests memorials be directed to Kaiser Hospice in his behalf.

North Sacramento Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

I have an ancestor (surname Goshen) whose place of birth on census is listed as Texas and her husband (John Smith) place of birth is listed as Texas, yet I have found an old picture that we think is them that is stamped O.T., possibly made in about 1885. Now I am wondering if they may have been born in Greer County while it was still Texas? Anyone have these names in their family history?

I am looking for the family of Calvin Kuyknedall b. 3-30-1884 near Altus (I think at that time it was Indian Territory) in what is now Greer County-I think. I am a little confused as to boundries. Calvin was the fourth of seven children born to John R. and Julia Applewhite Kuykendall. John R. and Julia are buried at Texola. This family moved to San Antonio at some point, but finally came to Texola about 1902. Calvin married Minnie B. Martin in 1904 at Texola. I would also like any information on her. She was the daughter of William and Namoi Martin. Naomi was first married to a man named Ballew. She had several children by him. Any info on any of these people would be appreciated.

Sarah Patrick was born in 1856 in Madison County, Arkansas the daughter of Andrew J. Patrick, Sr. and Nancy Watkins.
