Yes, this did help. I had seen one site which had a different person listed as her father and that one didn't seem right. After getting your reply, I found the family of G.W. McGlasson on the 1880 Census for Precinct 3, Montague Co., TX

G.W. McGlasson, 38, b. IL
Lucinda, sife, 32, b. MO
George 14, b. IL
Viola, 11, b. IL
Newton, 8, b. IL
Zobedia, 5, b. IL
Avery, 3, b. IL

I'm hoping to be able to tie G.W. into the rest of my McGlasson info, and am guessing that his first name may have been George.
