Found a photo in an antique store and on the back is written "Louis & Wilhelm Kneese family & children & friends". There is no date. There are 16 people. All of the women and female children are wearing white sunbonnets of an old fashioned nature. The men are all wearing large brimmed hats. In the picture they are by a river and the men are holding up their fish catch of the day. The landscape appears to be similar to what I see here in San Antonio, Tx. I found a Church History of Gillespie County and Louis Kneese is listed as the son of Ludwig Kneese. Louis's siblings are listed as Otto, Henry, John, Ernst and William. William was the father of L.F. and Charles Kneese. I scanned the photo so i can send it to you if you wish. If these are your people, I would be more than happy to send you the original.
