My 3-great grandfather Caspar Fritz was orphaned in 1846 when his mother (and possibly his father) died in New Braunfels. I have no idea how many siblings he may have had, or their ages, but I may have found some of them. Looking at the 1850 Gillespie County census, I found Caspar, age 11, living with the John Blank family. I also found Caroline Fritz, age 12, living with the Gotfred Bader family; Fredericka Fritz, age 9, living with the Gerhard Rehman family; and William Fritz, age 7, living with the Henry Ellebracht family. Does anyone have any idea whether or not these are Caspar Fritz's scattered siblings?
