Classification: Query
Surnames: Bonner, Roberts
I am not sure yet if names listed above could be relatives, but here goes:
I am searching the names of Nat Roberts, Charlott Roberts, James Roberts,Benjamin Roberts, Mary Roberts, Worthey Roberts and the (Addison and Elsie Perry that were son-in-law and granddaughter of Jack Goulsby or Goosby) that lived in the Freestone area. Flora Bonner married Jack Goolsby Dec 1874. They had one child named Soloman Goolsby. I have located Jim Roberts family living in the area from 1870-1920.
Jim Roberts was married twice. His first marriage was to Charolotte Roberts, but not sure of her maiden name. Children listed are: Eliza J. Roberts, Ben Robets, Bailey Roberts, Renia Robets and James Roberts base on the 1900 Census of Freestone, Texas and Jim Roberts on the 1910 Census with his new wife as Mary Roberts and their children Raina Roberts, James, Roberts, Annie Roberts and Roosevelt Cartee. On 1920 census Jim Roberts still with Mary and more children added Annie Roberts, Edward Roberts and Walter J. Roberts.
Sarah Ann Roberts was my great-grandmother who was born July 1861 not sure where in area of her birth, but I know she did have several children born in Nacogdoches, Texas base on the 1900 Census of Nacogdoches, Texas. On the 1900 Census, her mother was born in Alabama and father isn't listed. When I noticed her mother was born in Alabama, it made me look at the spelling of Roberts from Roberta in Freestone, Texas. Sarah's name matches the age and the mother's birthplace. This isn't absolute, but I feel it could be a great match. I hope someone could help me identify names mentioned in this query. Thanks!
