There is a great new resource available for Texas genealogists. Most people are probably aware of this new resource, but if not, it is definitely worth checking out.

The death certificates for the state of Texas for the years 1890 - 1976 are available online through the LDS website. These are actual images of the death certificates and not the index that just states the name, date, and county of death. These are the same certificates that you have to puy upwards of $20 when ordering from the state.
