"Funeral services for George W. Bezecny, 67, were held from the Triska Chapel in Rosenberg at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28 with Msgr. J. J. Tydlacka officiating.
Requiem Mass was said Saturday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg at 8 p.m. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Mr. Bezecny was born on July 8, 1899, in Moulton, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bezecny. He made his home in the Rosenberg community. He passed away at the Polly Ryon Hospital Friday morning following a long illness.
Survivors are one son, Raymond of Freeport; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Vallet of Needville, Mrs. Loraine Vancoast of San Antonio and Mrs. Mary Ann Hartman of Houston; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. John Bezecny of Rosenberg; three brothers, Emil and Eddie of Rosenberg and Willie of Fairchild, and one sister, Mrs. Lillian Christiansen of Brazoria.
Pallbearers were Gilbert Vallet Jr., Melvin Bezecny, Clifford R. Elmore, Kenneth Bezecny, Johnnie Bezecny and Conroy Bezecny.
Interment was made in the East Garden of Gethsemane."
