I will try and bring you some of the old pictures of the Dodd House. I have not had the chance to read Mr. Brent's book yet, but look forward to it. What was given in the post is correct and I might add that the original home was a log cabin built to the west, near the spring. It was later turned into a barn (my cousin's and I used it as Fort Kincaid) and served that purpose for many generations. Part of it now stands at Ft English in Bonham.
The historical marker melted in the fire.
