I want to thank you for posting the Obituary of John Perry Mayes years ago I came across it in my Genealogy search. Perry Mayes was my 2nd Great Grand Uncle; his sister Tennessee “Tennie” was my Great Great Grandmother. What a fascinating life he had in those travels, I found the read so interesting and was wondering if you had any suggestions on where to research for additional information? I have Google till the cows come home but nothing can be found on his parents, John and Parolee, or their parents.

I appreciate any information.
