Here is a summary of Allen family history 2000 years old, submitted by David Roger Allen (January 18, 1944 New York City USA - ) aka "Tex Allen" (Screen Actors Guild ..SAG..Professional Actor name.
Henry Clay Allen (1857, Wise County, Texas - 1946 New Mexico) was my great-grandfather, his daughter, Etta Anna Allen (Mrs. Otis Joseph Cudd) was my grandmother, and her son, Foy Ray Allen (born Frederick Richard Cudd...he changed his name legally during his adult life to "Allen," his mother's surname, rather than his father's surname...his father was Otis Joseph Cudd [1880-1919]).
