Hi David,

I just read your Allen Family History from 200 BC, and am amazed at the wonderful detail. I am an Allen! My name is Tracy and the Allens run through my grandmother, Hollis all the way to George Allen of England. I appreciated the ancient history of the Alan tribe. I currently live in Texas in Williamson county about 25 miles west of Bastrop County where the raging fires burned down most of the area. It's crazy how small of a world we all live in now with technology. I am curious if you have any direct info on the Allens from England to the Allens of New Kent County as far as copies of migration records, birth records etc. When my Allen family left New Kent County, they migrated to NC, Cherokee County where a rich Allen history was made. Many of this blood line also migrated to GA. I am also interested in any info you might have of english crests. Finally has your family done any DNA testing and if so where would that info be located? I just recently had my father's side tested for DNA which is kept on the Family tree DNA site. If you have't gotten a DNA test I would encourage you to do that and post the info. Ancestry tracks that info as well. Anyway, thanks for the Allen history lesson. I really enjoyed it! ~Tracy gto7@seanet.com
