Sarah (Sally)Lorena Griffin b.3 1888 in Dewitt Co.,Tx. Married Lonnie Donaho and had one child Daniel Griffin Donaho(They called him Palo)b.8-19-1910 Dewitt Co.,Tx.d.9-30-1965.
Sarah and Lonnie died of TB in the ----'s. Their son was raised by his maternal grandparents I.W. Griffin and Laura Burt Griffin. I.W. and Laura Griffin are buried in the Salt Creek Cemetery in Dewitt Co. So is Sally and Lonnie Donaho. Palo or Daniel Griffin Donaho is buried a few miles away in the Griffin family cemetery near his great grandparents Dr. Newton C. and Sarah Griffin. (Parents of I.W. Griffin).

William Donaho, called "Chief"(Indian connection not proved as yet)b.1800 S.C. His wife was Jane Addison b.1798 S.C. Jane and William were married in Amite Co.,Mississippi on 10-25-1816. Known children:

1) Isaac E. Donaho b.@1823 Miss. married #1 wife Elizabeth Edward on 6-27-1849 in Cherokee Co.,Tx. She was b.1833 Ga. His #2 wife was Mary L. Hartgraves on 1-13-1859. Children by both wives: 1)William Jr. b.1846 2)Elizabeth b.1851 3)Nancy A. b.1853 4)Amanda b.1855 5)Lucinda b.1857.
2) Lewis A. Donaho b.1830 Miss. Married Jane C. Young on 11-17-1863 in Johnson Co.,Tx. Children were 1)Daniel L. b.@1859 2)William b.1861 3)Kesiah J. b.@1862 4)L. Catherine b.1866.
3) Hiram H. Donaho b.@1832 Miss. Md. Henrietta Lowe on 4-3-1851 in Cherokee Co.,Tx.
4) Keziah Donaho b.@1834 Tx. Md.#1William ?Everts on 8-2-1850 in Cherokee Co.,Tx. #2John White sometime after 1871. Children:1)Martha b.@1851 2)John L.b.@1859 3)Moses b.@1866 4)Mollie b.@1871 5)Joseph (by 2nd, husband) b.@1877.
