Have you been to the Salt Creek Cemetery in Old Davy, Texas? This is very near Yorktown. There are Hopper's in this cemetery. I am 46 and I can remember my grandfather talking about a Mr. Hopper that lived near our ranch, on the Gonzales & Dewitt County line. Who had lots of children, white & mexican.
