James Roy
James Roy, age 68, of Forney, Tex. was born October 12, 1936 and passed away September 4, 2005. Jim was a Sales Representative for Grinnell and retired after 27 years. He was a member of Lakepointe Church and collected eagles, adored his grandchildren and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, mary Whitman; son, Stuart and wife Tiffany of Garland, Tex.; daughters, Teresa and husband Quincy of Choudrant, La., Jennifer and husband Bryan of Rowlett, Tex.; brothers, Earl Whitman of Monroe, La. and Troy Whitman of Downsville, La.; sisters, Carolyn of Ruston, La., Beverly of Anacoco, La., Linda of Hallsville, Tex.; nine grandchildren, Tabitha, Renesa, mary, Cody, Devyn, Tyler, Summer, Amberly and Jayme.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jearlene Whitman and a daughter, Cherie Whitman.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2005 in Williams Memorial Chapel, Garland, Tex. Interment was held in Garland Memorial Park. The visitation was from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at the funeral home.
