I did a search and found the following:
GATESVILLE MESSENGER JUJE 1982 MAYBERRY RITES HELD AT MOUND
Services for Mrs. Ted (Myrtle) MAYBERRY of Lufkin, formerly of MOUND, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the White MOUND Baptist Church. Rev. Walter Rose officiated, and burial was in the MOUND cemetery with Scott's in charge.
Mrs. Mayberry, 77, died Monday in a Lufkin nursing home. She was a retired salesclerk.
Daughter of the late Monroe and Ara Fellers, she was born in MOUND on Feb. 15, 1905, and was reared in that communuity. She was married to Ted MAYBERRY Oct. 13, 1927.
Mrs. Mayberry was employed in the J. C. Penney Store in Bay City for many years, and after her retirement, did volunteer work in the Matagorda County Hospital in Bay City. She and her husband had resided in Lufkin the last three years.
Mrs. Mayberry was a member of the White MOUND Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; one son Paul MAYBERRY of Lufkin; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Sterry of Houston; three sisters, Miss Ima Fellers, Mrs. R.N. (Thelma) McHargue and Mrs. Opal Anderson all of Mound; and two grandsons.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Mayberry's funeral were Maurice Magee, Paul Lam, Robert Hopson, L. C. Mayberry, Danny MAYBERRY and Jerry McHargue.
