A record of Coryell Co marriages shows that on Nov 20 1862 there was a marriage between G.H. Ash & Melly Unice Bishop. I am almost certain that G.H. Ash is my husband's great-grandfather who was in Coryell County in 1860 but married Margie Cates in Missouri in 1870. Are there any records available that might show if Melly Unice Bishop Ash died sometime between 1862 - 1870? I find no Bishop family in the 1860 census so I don't have much to go on. This was a new find and I would appreciate any information available.
