Searching for the death dates and burial places for the following who are found in 1880 census of Cooke Co., Tx.

Daniel Geisler/Giesler, born ca. 1826 Tn.
Mary Ann, born ca. 1826 Tn.
Adam J., born ca. 1863 Tn.
Sophia S. M., born ca. 1867

Daniel and Mary Ann's son John S. born ca. 1851, his wife Sarah J. (Branscom) Giesler/Geisler and their sons are also found in the 1880 Cooke Co., Tx. census.

Cooke Co., Tx. site shows Probate Records 1848 to 1940's and in the list of names is 972 Daniel Giesler-J.S. Giesler 7. It looks like Daniel did die in Cooke Co. The dates aren't given in this list of probate records.

Can anyone give me any info. on the above family or tell me what Daniel's probate records contain???

Any help or info. would be greatly appreciated!

M. A. Giesler B. Nov. 6, 1825 D. July 6, 1888
This is in the Nelson Grove Cemetery
In the Oak Grove Cemetery we have

Mrs. Giesler No Dates

Thanks fantastic! I can't tell you how much I appreciate this information. I didn't think I would ever be able to find their birth and death dates.

If you still have access to this book can you check for their children if you wouldn't mind? I can't seem to find what happened to these four sons. I know one of their daughters and her husband is also buried in Nelson Grove Cem.

This is all the information that are in our book. It was done in 1978, it has all the cemeteries in Cooke County accept the Fairview and I looked in that book also.

I'm just trying to complete a family group sheet for Daniel and Mary Ann (Duncan) Geisler. Daniel is a brother to my husband's line. I am really researching the Duncan line.

I appreciate your kind offer to share your info. on John and Sarah's children but I'm not researching in that direction.
