I'm looking for information about John Toliver, born 1880 in Tennessee, died 18 JAN 1880 Colorado Co., Texas. Married Lavinia H. Sublett in 1822. Four childre: Henry Madison (b.1835), Eliza Ann (b. 1836)- my great great grandmother, Benjamin Franklin (b. 1841), James Asbury (b. 1844), and John D. (b. 1848)

Specifically, I'm looking for information about John himself, who his family was: mother, father, and any brothers or sisters.

I've found a Braxton Toliver living in Stephenville at the same time, who was also born in 1808 in Tennessee, also moved to Alabama and had children there, also a medical doctor just like John Toliver, and also ran a hotel just like John Toliver. Question: are Braxton and John Toliver related?

Also, looking for names of John's mother and father.

Anything would be helpful.
